Both are fast and practical. The differences lie in handling and everyday usability.
An e-scooter can be folded and carried more easily. In many cases, this makes it simpler to take on trains and buses than an e-bike. It’s also practical when parking — you can bring it into your apartment, office, or a store.
An e-bike is often more comfortable for very long distances, but it requires more space and is harder to secure. Theft is a major concern. Those with limited storage space or who rely on a mix of public transport and personal mobility often end up choosing a scooter.
If you ride short to medium distances daily and want maximum flexibility, an e-scooter is often the better choice.
